Pastor Wes Moreland is married to Laverna and they have two children. Sarah our oldest is married to the love of her life Shane Hansen and Rebekah who keeps mom and dad from getting bored. Wes's background as a preacher's kid shapes his perspective on life and faith. He has worked in the lumber industry, technology as well as within the church. His most recent years in ministry has been working in transitional pastor roles and he loved the experiences. Laverna and Wes came to understand the importance of stability for Rebekah who has a number of life challenges. So here we are in Calgary settling in as a senior pastor looking forward to see what God will do!

Pat Zimmerman is currently the SCC Coordinator of Ladies Ministries and L.I.F.E Groups. Pat completed her BA in Leadership and Ministry at Alberta Bible College in 2003. She is also involved in the worship ministry. Pat continues to strive for, lead, and pursue, "...the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:19 (NASB)

Blair Turnbull has been attending Southside Community Church since 1996, at which time he found Jesus to be Lord and Saviour of his life. His wife's name is Linda and they have two daughters named Carolyn and Allison. He is presently chairman of the Elders board. His prayer is for you to KNOW HIM and LIVE in HIM.
